In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Pargin Reservoir is one of them. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Pagosa Springs, and not far from Pargin Reservoir you'll locate Capote Lake which is a striking lake. This location is great, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Pargin Reservoir. A nice site for whitewater paddling

| | near Pargin Reservoir is Piedra River, and going for a hike on the Middle Mountain Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Keyah Grande Resort is a delightful place to spend a night or two. If you came for an overnight stay Navajo is a pleasant place to camp, and you can hit the slopes at Wolf Creek in the neighborhood. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. On a beautiful day you get a vista of Haystack Mountain from Pargin Reservoir, and you can go for a hike on the Piedra Stock Trail. At Pargin Reservoir through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and during the
night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 30's; night lows in the 0's for Pargin Reservoir. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains is so good! Camping is available
at Capote Campground, and some nearby water includes Little Devil Creek. Pargin Reservoir gets a common amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest.
Pargin Reservoir is next to Pargin Dam which is a wonderful place certainly worth taking a look at, and nearby you discover the Devil Mountain Trail which is a good hiking trail.
