Many people like to go to Pargin Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Keyah Grande Resort, and if you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Pagosa Springs is a glorious choice. Be careful coming to Pargin Reservoir, you might not ever want to go home again. Pargin Reservoir is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Capote Campground is a nice location to camp nearby; a lake nearby is Sawmill Reservoir. Pargin Reservoir gets

hike along the Piedra Stock Trail; Wolf Creek is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. The Middle Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and do stop by Pargin Dam if you're here. There's fine hiking along the Devil Mountain Trail, and there's whitewater on Piedra River for all you adrenaline junkies.
