The beauty of Panhandle Reservoir attracts many people from all around. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. You can run the rapids of Cache La Poudre River close to Panhandle Reservoir, and do have a look at Pocahontas Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. | | Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Panhandle Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.

La Poudre River - North Fork is a delightful whitewater spot next to Panhandle Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Panhandle Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch is a pleasant location
for that.
Panhandle Reservoir is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Panhandle Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's near Panhandle Reservoir; a delightful sight of picturesque Black Mountain is
available. Don't forget to take a glorious little trip to Beartrap Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Panhandle Reservoir; North Lone Pine Trail is a wonderful local trail.
So many exciting things in the Medicine
Bow Mountains, just mind-boggling. Panhandle Reservoir is right by the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail; Panhandle Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Creedmore Lakes Campground is a nice local campground. Life's too short
to enjoy all the cool things in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The Killpecker Trail offers hiking at its best, and dry warm beds await you at First Gold Inn.
