If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Palmers Lake. Paddling on San Miguel River is so much fun; you might also want to pay a visit to Logging Camp Draw if you're here at Palmers Lake. Hiking along the Cottonwood Trail is great fun, and Road Reservoir is a pleasant lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. San Miguel River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and you're sure to stumble upon some smiling people       from Montrose here. Not much rain falls here at Palmers Lake; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. High temperatures at Palmers Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Palmers Lake are in the 0's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Horsefly                  Trail, and Palmers Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Miramonte Reservoir Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Mountain Lodge At Telluride is a pleasant choice. Palmers Lake is right by the Telephone Draw Trail; there are other locations here than Palmers Lake, for example Logging Camp Draw Reservoir.
