The Rainbow Trail is a perfect hiking trail in the vicinity of Pagosa Reservoir; why not a little side trip to Fourmile Creek. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Pagosa Reservoir you can play some golf at Pagosa Springs Golf Club, and there's whitewater on San Juan River for all you adrenaline kick people. This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail near Pagosa Reservoir called the Fourmile Stock Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pagosa Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at San Juan Trailer Park and Motel. Pagosa Reservoir gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls through August; June meanwhile is the driest month. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Pagosa Reservoir. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of San Juan River, and do go to Stevens Reservoir, it's a pretty lake. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Oak Ridge Lodge is a brilliant place to get some rest, and close by you discover Dry Gulch which is a tremendous place to take a look at.
