Summertime highs at Pagoda Lake generally tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 20's, and night lows at Pagoda Lake during the winter commonly plunge into the 0's. You can see Pagoda Peak from Pagoda Lake, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on White River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at       Elk Run Inn, and if you come at the right time of year, White River - North Fork offers some glorious whitewater. Pagoda Lake is a wonderful place to camp, Baughn Lake Campground is a wonderful place, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pagoda Lake; Bailey Lake Trail is a good local trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Pagoda Lake. There's fine hiking along the Sleepy Cat Trail. Good hiking is available along the                  Oyster Lake Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pagoda Lake has to offer, you can camp at Himes Peak Campground.
