    Why not stop by Pacific Tarn if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Copper Mountain, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Tenmile Creek. While you're here at Pacific Tarn, you could also visit striking Mohawk Lake; Pacific Tarn is not far at all from Silverthorne. Pacific Tarn is a location that is quite arid usually; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that  
   rains the most, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
A good place to camp here at Pacific Tarn is Kite Lake Campground; dry warm beds await you at Carbonate Copper Mountain. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Pacific Tarn. Pacific Tarn is right by the Wheeler Trail, and a splendid sight of scenic Atlantic Peak is available. Hiking along the Miners Creek Trail is good fun, and Ten Mile Haus is a tremendous place to get some rest.
 
               Breckenridge is a pleasant local ski area, and do visit Upper Blue Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Tiger Run Resort while you're here at Pacific Tarn, and there's whitewater on Arkansas River for all you thrill seekers.
Summertime highs at Pacific Tarn regularly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. All through the winter highs are regularly in the 20's while Pacific Tarn nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's.
