Summertime highs at Oyster Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Oyster Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a splendid hiking trail near       Oyster Lake called the Fayville Trail, and a gorgeous lake like Slide Lake is a brilliant location to explore. There's so much to do here at Oyster Lake that you need to camp here for a while, East Marvine Campground is a fine place for that, and get soaked paddling on White River - North Fork. Near Oyster Lake you hit upon the Bailey Lake Trail which is a good hiking trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit White River - South Fork. There's just no way                  anyone can get bored here at Oyster Lake. A wonderful nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites On The River, and the Oyster Lake Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Oyster Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is October, and the driest month is January.
