Yeah, come here to Ouzel Lake for a great time. On a good day at Ouzel Lake you can take a hike along the Bluebird Lake Trail. Lakes? Sure, Castle Lakes is close by. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Front Range. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Winter Park. This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail near Ouzel       Lake called the Lion Lake Trail, and Pear Dam is a pretty place, unquestionably worth a visit. So much cool stuff to do here at Ouzel Lake, too nice to be true. A pleasant trip to Wild Basin is a good way to spend an afternoon, and the skiing at Berthoud Pass is wonderful. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Ouzel Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Ouzel Lake throughout                  the wintertime regularly fall into the 0's. Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the destinations in the neighborhood of Ouzel Lake that are perfect to go to, and camping at Longs Peak Campground is always a great experience. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Front Range. If you need a place to stay Alpine Trail Ridge Inn is a good choice, and nearby you discover the Saint Vrain Glacier Trail which is a great hiking trail. That right there is heaps of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Ouzel Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Pawnee Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground, and a short tour to Mertensia Falls is always worthwhile. At Ouzel Lake you don’t see much rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Take a little tour to Ouzel Creek if you're here at Ouzel Lake; a nice place for whitewater paddling is Saint Vrain Creek - North. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Boulder Creek; Copeland Mountain is a peak you can make out from Ouzel Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
