Ott Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Ott Reservoir? Lone Tree Reservoir is around here, and the Tanner Trail offers hiking at its best. A fine location to camp here at Ott Reservoir is Royal View Campground; of course Wilson Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend       Arkansas River, and camping is available at Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Ott Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Ott Reservoir. That right there is a load of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Canon City, and why not take                  a refreshing hike along the Stultz Trail. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. There's whitewater on Grape Creek for all you adrenaline people, and do take a hike on the Sheeley Trail. Be careful coming to the Front Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Royal Gorge Motel is a glorious choice; you'll perhaps meet some people from Canon City here. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument if you're here at Ott Reservoir; if you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Shadow Hills Golf Club.
