Ott Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. Summertime highs at Ott Reservoir usually tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Ott Reservoir. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Front Range has to offer. Whitewater paddling

| | is delightful on Grape Creek, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Canon City is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two.
At Ott Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is January. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ott Reservoir; Sheeley Trail is a good local trail, and it's a wonderful idea to go to Wilson Creek. Having a glorious time in the Front Range is easy. River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and a round of golf at nearby Shadow Hills Golf Club is a perfect way to kill some time.
Camping at Royal View Campground is always a magnificent experience. Don't leave Ott
Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Tanner Trail; Ott Reservoir is not far at all from Canon City. This lake is so wonderful. Ott Reservoir is not the only site nearby, Park Center L and W Number 10 Reservoir is a nearby
lake, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Royal Gorge Motel is a glorious choice.
This place, Ott Reservoir, it completely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Good hiking is available along the Stultz Trail, and
if you get bored of Ott Reservoir you could also go to close by Lone Tree Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument if you're here at Ott Reservoir, and a glorious site to camp here at Ott Reservoir is Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA.
