    Go to Osborn Reservoir Number 1 if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Fourmile Stock Trail offers hiking at its best, and here at Osborn Reservoir Number 1 you can make out Chris Mountain. Summer at Osborn Reservoir Number 1 arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Osborn Reservoir Number 1. From  
   a rainfall point of view Osborn Reservoir Number 1 is a rather typical location; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Having a nice time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains is trouble-free. Osborn Reservoir Number 2 is a nearby lake that you could explore, and whitewater paddling is fine on Piedra River. Good hiking is available along the Piedra
 
               Stock Trail. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Osborn Reservoir Number 1 has it all. Get wet paddling on Piedra River; if you need a spot to stay Keyah Grande Resort is a wonderful choice.
Osborn Reservoir Number 1 is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Happy Camper RV Park is a nice location to camp, and do stop by Sawmill Reservoir, it's a delightful lake. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Camping is available at Turkey Springs Campground, and the snow is delightful at Wolf Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Middle Mountain Trail, and Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a good site to get some rest. West Fork Devil Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and Hotz Spring is a nice local attraction.

The take out after Mesa Canyon is where Trujillo Rd gets close to the river on R Left @ 37. 125988°, -107. 051072°

These are the closest Public put in & take out to the Lat/Long given on the site. Happy Raftin!...
