Osborn Reservoir Number 1 is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Turkey Springs Campground is a good campground nearby, and some of the water nearby flows, like West Fork Devil Creek. The peak of Chris Mountain can be made out from Osborn Reservoir Number 1, and there's nice hiking along the Fourmile Stock Trail. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. | | Sawmill Reservoir, and don't leave Osborn Reservoir Number 1 without first going for a hike along the Middle Mountain Trail. So many amusing things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not enough time. If you need a place to stay Keyah Grande Resort is a good choice, and there are fine places to look at along the Piedra Stock Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Happy Camper RV Park, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Piedra River. | |
