Go to Opalair Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Opalair Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Bolling Gulch Trail, and not far from Opalair Reservoir you obtain some good water scenery at Los Lagos Lakes Dam. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a good time. Camping at Opalair Reservoir is pleasant fun, Central City/Blackhawk

| | KOA is a pleasant local campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Switzerland Trail.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek; the slopes of Berthoud Pass are so inviting noone can resist. Opalair Reservoir is regularly a relatively waterless place; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. Front Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. Going for a hike along the Rainbow Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and after a long day outdoors Alps Boulder Canyon Inn is a
fine place to spend a night or two.
You completely have to adore Opalair Reservoir. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are really plentiful here at Opalair Reservoir. A nice nearby hotel is Best Western Lodge At Nederland; some
of the water close by flows, like North Beaver Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek - South offers some wonderful whitewater, and a gorgeous lake like Beaver Lake is a glorious site to visit.
This lake is
so wonderful. Why not camp at Reverends Ridge Campground since you're here at Opalair Reservoir; Winter Park is a great local ski area. For the duration of the summer months at Opalair Reservoir highs are commonly in the 70's. Once
the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Opalair Reservoir. Gamble Gulch is a pleasant site to explore; on a delightful day you acquire a great view of Fritz Peak from Opalair Reservoir.
