It is very waterless here at Opalair Reservoir generally; most of the rain falls through August, and February
is the month with the least moisture. Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a pleasant site to get some rest, and don't leave Opalair Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Bolling Gulch Trail. And that's not all the things
to do here in the Front Range. Visit North Beaver Creek while you're here at Opalair Reservoir; Berthoud Pass is a very popular ski area in the vicinity.
That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Opalair Reservoir
has it all. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek - South. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Boulder Creek. There's so much to do here at Opalair Reservoir that you need to camp here
for a while, Central City Blackhawk Campground is a perfect site for that. And that's not all you can do here at Opalair Reservoir. Los Lagos Lakes Dam is not far at all from Opalair Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Switzerland Trail is always a delightful adventure.
