So many enjoyable things near Opal Lake, truly extraordinary. Drift down the rapids of Rio Blanco in a kayak, and from Opal Lake you get a brilliant panorama of Flattop Mountain. Paddling on San Juan River - East Fork is so much fun, and why not take a refreshing hike along the V Rock Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan Mountains. Camping at Blanco River Campground is always a splendid experience, and if you       need a spot to stay Oak Ridge Lodge is a fine choice. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the San Juan Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Take a hike on the Fish Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
