Onion Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cimarron River, and camping at Beaver Lake Campground is always a delightful experience. The Courthouse Trail offers hiking at its best, and Castle Rock is an exciting location to take a look at while at Onion Lakes. This lake is so wonderful.

the warmest time of the year are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Onion Lakes.
