Oliver Lakes is a lake worth visiting. Oliver Lakes is a beautiful lake in the San Juan Mountains. Really great skiing awaits you at Silverton, and drift down the rapids of Canyon Creek in a kayak. Camping at Oliver Lakes is pleasant fun, Transfer Park Campground is a pleasant local campground.

| | so wonderful. Oliver Lakes is a splendid location to camp, Florida Campground is a splendid location; don't leave Oliver Lakes without first going for a hike along the Highline Trail. Man, is there plenty of amusing stuff to do in close proximity to Oliver Lakes. Nearby lakes? Sure, City Reservoir is next to Oliver Lakes, and paddling on Vallecito Creek is so much fun.

the most rain while June is generally the driest month. A perfect spot like Lower Park here at Oliver Lakes is too pleasant to miss; if you need a place to stay Lodge at Tamarron is a great choice. You just can't envision the amount
of outdoors fun things the San Juan Mountains has to offer. A glorious nearby hotel is Tamarron Resort, and going for a hike on the Whitehead Trail is always a splendid adventure.
During the months of summer at Oliver Lakes highs
are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Oliver Lakes. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The
San Juan Mountains rocks! Oliver Lakes is close to Missouri Gulch which is beyond doubt worth a visit, and people from Durango love to come here.
