It is very dry here at Olive Lake mostly; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Olive Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hitch'n Post Campground is a perfect site for that, and a round of golf at nearby Wray Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. If you need a spot to stay       Travelers Inn is a great choice, and a quick tour to Hayes Creek is certainly a wonderful idea. After a long day outdoors Butte Motel is a good place to spend a night or two, and not far from Olive Lake you'll come across Wray Watershed District Reservoir Number 1 which is a delightful lake. For the duration of the warm months at Olive Lake temperatures are typically in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's.
