In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on South Platte River, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Beaver Brook Trail. Around Oberon Lakes you don’t get a lot of precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. For the period of the warm       months highs here at Oberon Lakes reach the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Oberon Lakes dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Whitewater paddling is nice on Clear Creek; there are plenty of people from Boulder here at Oberon Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Oberon Lakes, you could also stop by beautiful Calkins Lake, and there is a                  great hiking trail nearby called the Bear Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Oberon Lakes is glorious fun, The Prospect RV Park is a glorious local campground. Oberon Lakes truly is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. Oberon Lakes is a good place to camp, Prospect RV Park is a good place, and a quick trip to Leyden Creek is unquestionably a nice idea.
