This lake is so wonderful. Leyden Creek is a great local stream. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites - Wheat Ridge - Denver West; camping is available at Prospect RV Park. The warmest time of the year at Oberon Lake Number 1 comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down       into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Oberon Lake Number 1 temperatures fall to the 10's. There's tremendous hiking along the Mesa Trail, and a perfect location for whitewater paddling is South Platte River. If you get bored of Oberon Lake Number 1, you could also stop at nearby Oberon Lakes, and lots of folks from Boulder come here. Oberon Lake Number 1 is pretty dried                  out usually; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. Yeah, come here to Oberon Lake Number 1 for a great time. Don't leave Oberon Lake Number 1 without first going for a hike along the Beaver Brook Trail; if you need a location to stay American Motel is a perfect choice. For you golfers we recommend nearby West Woods Golf Club; camping at The Prospect RV Park is always a wonderful experience.
