You could also visit Rudolph Reservoir since you're here at Oaks Reservoir; it's close by, and the Tepee Creek Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Summertime highs at Oaks Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's while Oaks Reservoir night low temperatures       through the winter are in the-10's. Oaks Reservoir is a location that is pretty dried up usually; the month with most of the snow is December; August meanwhile is the driest month. Head up to Steamboat and strap some skis to your feet, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Colorado River. This lake is so wonderful.
