After a long day outdoors The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and glorious hiking is available along the Mount Massive Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Fryingpan River for all you adrenaline kick people, and at Notch Lake you always meet someone from Edwards. Camping at Elbert Creek Campground is always a tremendous experience, and       hey, Gotta ski right? Ski Cooper is a delightful location to do that. Not much precipitation falls here at Notch Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Notch Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back persistently. A pretty lake like Pear Lake in close proximity to Notch Lake is a tremendous place to explore, and Notch Lake                  is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mary Queen Campground is a great local campground. Yeah, come here to Notch Lake for a delightful time. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Lake Creek, and there's great hiking along the Main Range Trail. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not check out Rainbow Lake in the vicinity of Notch Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Highline Trail. For the duration of the summer highs here at Notch Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows at Notch Lake during the wintertime mostly drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
