Notch Lake is always a pleasure to visit. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more entertaining stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Go for a hike on the Mount Massive Trail, and the slopes of Ski Cooper are so inviting noone can resist. Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a perfect spot to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Highline Trail is always a splendid adventure. Fryingpan River is a wonderful whitewater spot in close proximity to Notch Lake,

| | and do take a look at Hagerman Lake, it's a pretty lake.
Throughout the summer at Notch Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Notch Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Just can't get enough of the Sawatch Range. place to stay The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Near Notch Lake you hit upon Hagerman Pass which is a perfect site to check out.
Notch Lake is ordinarily a reasonably dried up place;
August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Notch Lake. A splendid place for whitewater paddling
in close proximity to Notch Lake is Lake Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Notch Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mary Queen Campground. Notch Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range.
This lake
is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Notch Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Elbert Creek Campground is a pleasant location for that, and don't leave Notch Lake without first going for a hike along the Main Range Trail.
