A visit to Northfield Reservoir is always a good idea. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Stanley Reservoir near Northfield Reservoir, and if you need a spot to stay Eagle Motel is a delightful choice. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a fine local destination here at Northfield Reservoir, and the peak of Devils Kitchen can be spotted from Northfield Reservoir.
