If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Joe Wright Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay North Park/Gould/Walden KOA is a good site to camp. Whitewater paddling is fine on Cache La Poudre River, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Michigan River Trail. If you need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn Bighorn Lodge is a splendid choice, and needless to say, this is a pleasant region for folks
who like lakes, Lily Lake is a lake in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Very perfect water scenery is available at North Michigan Creek Dam close to North Michigan Creek Reservoir, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Bockman Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. At North Michigan Creek Reservoir you can distinguish Bull Mountain. At North Michigan Creek Reservoir you don’t see much rain; May is the wettest month with most

rain, and the driest of the months is January. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at North Michigan Creek Reservoir. Some of the water close by flows, like Grass Creek, and the North Fork Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by.

This has been a favorite vacation/relaxation spot for my family for many years. The popularity has grown and the campground is very busy during the summer months on weekends. There is great stream and lake fishing nearby, plenty of trails for hiking and an evening drive to Long Draw Reservoir is guaranteed to provide sightings of elk and moose. ...

Long Draw Reservoir

A very nice place to go camping, hiking and fishing. The reservoir has an astonishing breathtaking view, nothing like I have ever seen before, yes that beautiful! We went the weekend of July 10th, 2009 the weather during the day is very nice and sunny avg. temp about 75 degrees, the nights however are very cold, dipping into the low 40's and 30's, so be prepared for that, we came with too little of blankets and learned that to be a big mistake. Long draw is located about 15 mi. inland from Hwy 14 just past Chambers, driving into the reservoir looks deceitful because it seems as though you are traveling into the thick of the forest with nothing but trees around, but be patient 15 mi. in you will discover the camp ground, enjoy!...
