This lake is one of the great places here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You'll       discover a delightful lake called Monument Lake near North Lake. There's so much to do here at North Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Potato Patch Campground is a delightful place for that. Take a hike on the Apishapa Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything North Lake has to offer, you can camp at Monument Lake Resort. You just have to adore the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A day on the slopes of Eldora is just what you need, and                  hiking along the Wade Trail is splendid fun. Summertime highs at North Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while North Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Do have a look at Schaffer Lake close to North Lake, it's a striking lake, and if you need a location to stay Knights Inn Walsenburg is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Cherry Creek from North Lake is simple.
