you need a place to stay The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a fine choice. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Sawatch Range has to offer. This is a great area for folks who like lakes. Three Lakes is a lake
in the neighborhood, and hiking is a popular thing to do around North Halfmoon Lakes; Mount Elbert Trail is a tremendous local trail. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Aspen Highlands.
Lake Creek is a perfect
whitewater spot in close proximity to North Halfmoon Lakes, and Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a great site to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. All the outdoors entertaining stuff near North Halfmoon
Lakes will keep you coming back many times. Good hiking is available along the Mount Massive Trail, and Mount Massive is pretty and can be made out from here.
In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Clear Creek, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try North Halfmoon Creek. North Halfmoon Lakes is usually a relatively dehydrated place; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
