So much exciting stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range, too splendid to be true. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River; Chalk Creek Pass is another pleasant site to go to close by. All through the summertime months highs here at North Fork Reservoir reach the 70's while overnight lows are commonly       in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows in the-20's for North Fork Reservoir. North Fork Reservoir is located in the Sawatch Range. Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. From North Fork Reservoir you get a fine sight of Mount Aetna, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River. There's so much to do here at North Fork Reservoir that you need                  to camp here for a while, Monarch Park Campground is a good location for that, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Vista Inn is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Browns Creek Trail is always a fine adventure; good skiing awaits you at Monarch. So much cool stuff to do at North Fork Reservoir, so little time. Billings Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. There's so much to do here at North Fork Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Garfield Campground is a splendid site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Hunt Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and if you need a place to stay Buena Vista Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice. Going for a hike on the Fooses Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and why not stop by North Fork Dam if you're here. Going for a hike on the Pitkin Stock Driveway is always a delightful adventure; if you have time to spare, Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is a national park worth taking a look at.
