Tikka Reservoir is a glorious lake in close proximity to North Creek Reservoir; wonderful hiking is available along the Paradox Road. Lots of folks from Montrose come to North Creek Reservoir, and lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Go Back Reservoir. Yeah, come here to North Creek Reservoir for a nice time. There are fine spots to discover along the Horsefly Trail, and a great location to camp here at North Creek Reservoir       is Antone Spring Campground. North Creek Reservoir is pretty waterless generally; the month with most of the rain is July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. That right there is a load of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has it all. San Miguel River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and Flatiron Spring is a charming place to pop by while you're at North Creek Reservoir. North Creek                  Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Iron Spring Campground is a splendid local campground, and here at North Creek Reservoir you can see The Flatiron. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place in the neighborhood of North Creek Reservoir is Galloway Draw, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Miguel River. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Don't leave North Creek Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Dry Creek Trail, and Fairmont Franz Klammer Lodge is a great place to get some rest. North Creek Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. At North Creek Reservoir during the warm months highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's.
