Custom Search     North Catamount Reservoir     For a nice hike/mountain bike ride, this lake has a complete loop around it. About half of it is single track that weaves gradually in and out of coves on the North side of the lake. The south side has a couple good climbs. The rest of the ride is on the roads (Ridge Trail), which offers some nice views of the Peak and glimpses of South Catamount. The best access, in my opinion, is from the Catamount entrance at the end of Edlow Road (Past Woodland Park about     3 miles). Says Cdiddy North Catamount Reservoir is located in the Front Range. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a good local destination here at North Catamount Reservoir; take a trip to close by Academy Riding Stables and ride a horse.            Map Detailed Map Weather Local weather forecast
