The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Fourmile Spring, and don't leave Noecker Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Antone Trail. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Stay the night at Gypsum Creek Campground,
and get yourself into a kayak and hit Eagle River.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff right next door to Noecker Reservoir. Sylvan Lake is a great campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn
Eagle is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. Noecker Reservoir is frequently a quite dry location; through July this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. You can take a little trip to Noecker Dam if you're here at Noecker Reservoir, and there's fine hiking along the High Trail.

Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
