Oh-be-joyful Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at; do have a look at Lake Brennand, it's a picturesque lake. The slopes of Aspen Highlands are so inviting nobody can resist. Nicholson Lake is a brilliant place to camp, Avery Peak Campground is a brilliant place, and a good place like Coon Basin here at Nicholson Lake is too perfect       to miss. This lake is so wonderful. Oh Be Joyful Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot close to Nicholson Lake; you can stay the night at Maroon Lake Campground. Nicholson Lake is pretty dry typically; the month with most of the rain is August; February meanwhile is the driest month. If you need a spot to stay The Elevation Hotel is a perfect choice, and Irwin Lodge is a wonderful local ski area. At Lake Brennand Dam near Nicholson Lake there are some                  out of the ordinary things to see, and Nicholson Lake is right by the Lowline Trail. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on East River, and do take a hike on the Granite Basin Trail. You think that's sufficient?
