Many people like to go to Nichols Reservoir. All through the warm days of summer at Nichols Reservoir highs are commonly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Nichols Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Eagle Motel; Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a good national park. Whohoo, so many entertaining

| | things in one place! The Front Range is excellent! The Cliff House Hotel at Pikes Peak is a tremendous place to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Schubarth Trail is always a pleasant adventure.

always Nichols Dam to go to close to Nichols Reservoir, and if the weather is pretty, you get a fine panorama of Devils Kitchen from Nichols Reservoir.
Nichols Reservoir is located in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful.
Go for a hike on the Stanley Canyon Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Promontory Campground is a great place to camp. During your visit to Nichols Reservoir you'll meet some people from Colorado Springs for sure, and naturally,
this is a magnificent neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Northfield Reservoir is a lake close at hand.
Near Nichols Reservoir you stumble on Wildcat Gulch which is a fine spot to check out, and Lone Duck Campground is a great
campground nearby. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more cool things to do here in the Front Range. Good hiking is available along the Waldo Canyon Trail. Lakes are magnificent; Rampart Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Nichols Reservoir.
