Newt Jack Spring Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Newt Jack Spring Reservoir gets very little rain; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and June on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the months of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Newt Jack Spring Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 30's. much to do here at Newt Jack Spring Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Turkey Springs Campground is a fine site for that. There is a nice hiking trail near Newt Jack Spring Reservoir called the Middle Mountain Trail,
and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Pagosa Springs Golf Club is always a delight, and a wonderful nearby hotel
is Econo Lodge Pagosa Springs. Having a splendid time in the San Juan Mountains is uncomplicated. While you're here at Newt Jack Spring Reservoir you can take a hike along the Fourmile Stock Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend San Juan River.
