This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Homewood Suites by Hilton Fort Collins, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Sherwood Dam. Going for a hike along the Round Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Nelson Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Arapaho Bay - Arapaho National Forest is a wonderful local campground. There are some       splendid whitewater spots on Big Thompson River. Have a great hiking adventure along the Wintersteen Trail; an afternoon playing golf at Fort Collins Country Club Golf is always a joy. This lake is so wonderful. Hampton Inn Ft.Collins is a splendid place to get some rest, and some nearby water includes Dry Creek. If you came to camp Pawnee - Arapaho National Forest is a wonderful location to do that, and you'll locate a wonderful lake called Warren Lake. Not                  enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Hiking along the Jug Trail is wonderful fun; lots of people from Fort Collins-Loveland come here. A stunning lake like Sherwood Reservoir close to Nelson Reservoir is a perfect place to take a look at, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La Poudre River. At Nelson Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. Throughout the summertime months, highs typically are in the 80's at Nelson Reservoir. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's.
