A visit to Native Lake is always a good idea. Why not camp at Mary Queen Campground if you're here at Native Lake; nearby you stumble on the Main Range Trail which is a great hiking trail. At Native Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range, too nice to be true. On a magnificent day at Native Lake you can take a hike along the Highline Trail, and Elbert Creek Campground is a great local campground. If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Native Lake. rest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Native Lake while night lows are generally in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime
temperatures at Native Lake drop into the 0's.
Man, is there heaps of fun things to do in the Sawatch Range. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Cooper while you're here, and in the event that you don’t
have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lake Creek. While you're here at Native Lake, you could also stop by picturesque Notch Lake, and Arkansas River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Native Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range.
This lake is so wonderful. The Mount Massive Trail is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Native Lake.
