Camping at Native Lake is glorious fun, Mary Queen Campground is a glorious local campground, and paddling on Arkansas River is so much fun. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Lake Creek; there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Mount Massive Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Highline       Trail is a perfect hiking trail near Native Lake, and after a long day outdoors Twin Lakes Roadhouse Lodge is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Native Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range. That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the Sawatch Range has it all. Native Lake is a perfect location to camp, Elbert Creek Campground is a perfect location; everyone nearby loves skiing at Ski Cooper. Native Lake is                  pretty arid usually; August is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. Just can't get enough of Native Lake. A wonderful nearby hotel is Win MAR. Cottages; going for a hike on the Main Range Trail is always a splendid adventure. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Hidden Lakes near Native Lake; you'll meet a lot of folks from Edwards here. This lake is so wonderful. Through the summer at Native Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's.
