     But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. The Leche Creek Trail is a brilliant hiking trail next to Native Lake, and a nice close by hotel is Best Western Jicarilla Inn & Casino. There's whitewater on Rio de los Brazos for all you adrenaline kick people, and you're possibly keen on lakes, T J Lake is one of those nearby. Near Native Lake you stumble on the Elk Creek Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. You'll need more  
   than a day to explore everything Native Lake has to offer, you can camp at El Vado Lake Camping Resort.
Having a great time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains is painless. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Rio Chama. There's so much to do here at Native Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rio Chama RV Campground is a good place for that. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Native Lake. If
 
               you need a place to stay Branding Iron Motel is a pleasant choice, and of course, this is a pleasant area for folks who like lakes, Brushfence Lake is a lake nearby. Native Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Native Lake a wet site; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that snows the most; the driest of the months is June. Summertime highs at Native Lake frequently tend to be in the 60's while night lows are typically in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Native Lake during the winter frequently sink into the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Fish Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and one of the principal marks of the surroundings of Native Lake is Chama Peak.
