Going for a hike along the Chapman Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Nast E Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Elk Wallow Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Nast E Lake is generally a relatively dried up spot; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest month is February. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place!       The Sawatch Range rules! Stay the night at Lost Man Campground, and Aspen Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand. Through the days of summer at Nast E Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Nast E Lake dip into the 0's. At Nast E Lake you always meet someone from Edwards, and The                  Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is a tremendous location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day at Nast E Lake you can take a hike along the Last Chance Trail, and glide down the rapids of Fryingpan River in a kayak. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Sawatch Range has to offer. Ivanhoe Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here; after a long day outdoors VillaHotel La Niche is a great place to spend a night or two. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Nast E Lake. A lake nearby is Diemer Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Sawyer Lake Trail. Chapman Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Roaring Fork. Nast E Lake is located in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful.
