    A visit to Nast E Lake is always a good idea. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Roaring Fork; do set aside some time for Sellar Park since you're here at Nast E Lake. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Nast E Lake get into the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows at Nast E Lake  
   throughout the winter mostly descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Ivanhoe Creek is a perfect local stream, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Nast E Lake; Last Chance Trail is a nice local trail.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. So many entertaining things to do here in the Sawatch Range, too fine to be true. There's whitewater on Fryingpan River for all you adrenaline kick people; if you need
 
               a site to stay The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a brilliant choice. Everybody close by loves skiing at Aspen Highlands, and VillaHotel La Niche is a splendid location to get some rest.
Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Diemer Lake near Nast E Lake; hey, Gotta ski right? Aspen Mountain is a magnificent place to do that. Nast E Lake is a location that is quite dry typically; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do near Nast E Lake. Good hiking is available along the Chapman Trail; you can stay the night at Lost Man Campground.
There are other spots here than Nast E Lake, for example Chapman Lake; Elk Wallow Campground is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Sawyer Lake Trail, and Nast E Lake is not far at all from Edwards. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range.

Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir.  We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection.  After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests.  A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir.  It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well.  We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum....
