Lake Nanita is a location that is pretty waterless regularly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. For the duration of the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Lake Nanita, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings       highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Nanita temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Andrews Peak can be observed from Lake Nanita; naturally Hallett Creek flows through this neighborhood. There are other sites here than Lake Nanita, for example Lake Nokoni, and if time allows, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth checking out. And if that's not enough there's plenty more                  fun things to do in the Front Range. Not far from Lake Nanita, you'll discover Lake Solitude which is a gorgeous lake, and good skiing awaits you at Berthoud Pass. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Front Range. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at War Dance Falls, and a glorious spot to camp here at Lake Nanita is Roaring Fork Campground. Near Lake Nanita you discover the Lake Nanita Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and if you need a place to stay Inn At Grand Lake, The is a brilliant choice. Any time is a glorious time at Lake Nanita if you adore the outdoors. Camping at Moraine Campground is always a nice experience, and a brilliant close by hotel is The Inn at Grand Lake. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Lake Nanita. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby SolVista. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River, and there are nice spots to discover along the East Inlet Trail.
