You'll locate a pretty lake called Morgan Reservoir near Myler Reservoir, and if you came to camp Mavreeso Campground is a wonderful location to do that. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Dolores River, and do take a look at Middle Reservoir, it's a pretty lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Myler Reservoir. hike along the Lost Canyon Stock Driveway, and the slopes of Hesperus Ski Center are so inviting noone can resist. Walker Spring is an inspiring place to visit while here. There's so much to do here at Myler Reservoir that you need
to camp here for a while, Transfer Campground is a good site for that. Yeah, come here to Myler Reservoir for a delightful time. Going for a hike on the Chicken Creek Trail is always a good adventure; a great place is Morgan Gulch.

It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only. The public access is maintained by the DOW. The only facilities present is a boat ramp and a pit toilet. No fires, swimming or overnight camping is allowed.... |
