This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Argentine Trail; do pop by Silver Dollar Lake, it's a pretty lake. Argentine Pass is a delightful spot to take a look at near Murray Lake; you can run the rapids of Clear Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things close to Murray Lake. A day on the slopes of       Loveland is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Murray Dam is a spot that is in close proximity to Murray Lake, and if you're here at Murray Lake it's a magnificent idea to pop by Smelter Basin. Why not camp at Clear Lake Campground if you're here at Murray Lake; dry warm beds await you at Georgetown Mountain Inn. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Murray Lake temperatures are generally in the 60's. Once the sun is down it plunges                  down to the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Murray Lake are in the 0's. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Camping is available at Guanella Pass - Arapaho National Forest; Argentine Peak is scenic and can be spotted from here. The amount of rainfall that falls at Murray Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the snow is April, and October on the other hand is the driest.
