You can take a little trip to Murray Dam since you're here at Murray Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Georgetown Mountain Inn is a good choice. On a fine day at Murray Lake you can take a hike along the Grays Peak Trail, and camping at Clear Lake Campground is always a glorious experience. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Arapahoe Basin are so inviting noone can resist, and a trip to Smelter       Basin invigorates the soul. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Georgetown, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Argentine Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Murray Lake. Clear Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; Murray Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Guanella Pass - Arapaho National Forest is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Murray Lake you locate Argentine                  Pass which is a good location to have a look at, and you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Murry Reservoir is one of those nearby. Lakes are good; Silver Dollar Lake is a lake that's near Murray Lake; if you're here you can take a hike along the Silver Dollar Lake Trail. Murray Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; during the month of April you get the most snow around here; October is the month with the least moisture.
