Why not stop by Murray Lake if you're passing through these parts. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Murray Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 30's. is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes, Naylor Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. A brilliant close by hotel is Georgetown Mountain Inn, and Argentine Pass is another splendid site to have a look at nearby.
This lake is
so wonderful. Paddling on Clear Creek - West Fork is so much fun, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Georgetown is a nice choice. Murray Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here, and on a great day you can take
a hike along the Silver Dollar Lake Trail. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Murray Lake. There is a nice hiking trail next to Murray Lake called the Argentine Trail.
The amount of rain that falls at Murray
Lake is close to the national average; April is the wettest month with most snow while October is generally the driest month. Near Murray Lake you find the Grays Peak Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Shelf Lake.
