This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. People from Edwards love to come to Muddy Pass Lake. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do near Muddy Pass Lake. The top of Baker Mountain is easily made out from Muddy Pass Lake; lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Dumont Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along       the Buffalo Park Trail, and Winterwood Townhomes is a wonderful location to get some rest. It is very dry here at Muddy Pass Lake typically; December is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month is August. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Muddy Pass Lake, and the night is a tad cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Muddy Pass Lake all through the winter mostly dip into the-10's.                  This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Walton Creek Campground, and a tremendous spot close by is Muddy Pass. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Park Range. There's splendid hiking along the Divide Trail, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to see at Muddy Pass Dam close to Muddy Pass Lake. The Percy Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Howelsen Hill. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Park Range is great! A good place to camp here at Muddy Pass Lake is Base Campground, and Lily Lake is a pleasant lake close by.
