Mud Lake is frequently a relatively dry location; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Mud Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Mud Lake. Camping at Mud Lake is great fun, Lamar       Koa Kampground is a great local campground; dry warm beds await you at Country Manor Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Hud's Campground is a glorious campground here.
