Muckey Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Muckey Lake is not the only site close by, Buck Lake is a close by lake, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Edwards. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. Muckey Lake is a location that is relatively waterless frequently; throughout April this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is June.

| | Highlands; the Salt Creek Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Summertime highs at Muckey Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Muckey Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Aspen Mountain if you're here.

beauty of this region; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Eagle, Co. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Sawatch Range. Looking for some flowing water? Try Red Creek, and camping is available at Gypsum Creek
Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, -blank- offers some perfect whitewater, and if you came for an overnight stay LEDE Reservoir Campground is a nice location to camp. And if you're still
looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. If the weather is delightful here at Muckey Lake, you can go for a hike along the Blue Creek Trail, and Dry Gulch is another wonderful place to check out nearby.
