The beauty of Mountain Lake is reason enough to stop by. At Mountain Lake you can see Ball Mountain, and Mountain Lake is a great location to camp, Kite Lake Campground is a great location. Be careful coming to Mountain Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. The slopes of Copper Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and Mountain Lake is near Alps Gulch which is positively worth taking a look at. For the duration of the warm days of summer

| | at Mountain Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Mountain Lake temperatures drop to the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. There are great sites to look at along the Rich Creek - Buffalo Meadows Trail, and don't leave Mountain Lake without first going for a hike along the Wheeler Trail. Everybody close by loves skiing at Ski | |

Cooper, and a pleasant visit to Dyer Amphitheater is a glorious way to spend an afternoon. Not much rainfall falls here at Mountain Lake; all through August this area sees the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.
A good place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Mountain Lake is Arkansas River; dry warm beds await you at Delaware Hotel. Going for a hike on the Limber Grove Trail is always a splendid adventure. Since you might be in a
lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Conley Lakes, and get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Arkansas River.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mountain Lake has to offer, you can camp at Four Mile Campground, and Silver King Inn is a nice site to get some rest.
