That right there is heaps of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains has it all. Price Creek is a lovely stream that is worth visiting, and if you get bored of Mountain Lake you could also pop by close by Fielden Reservoir. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Mountain Lake is a magnificent place to visit for       more than one day, Bearadise Cabins and RV Park is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Peaks Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Circle The wagons RV Park, and a lake nearby is Mexican Lake. During the days of summer highs here at Mountain Lake get into the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's with winter lows                  in the 0's overnight here at Mountain Lake. A tour to Copper King Canyon is always fun, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Eldora is pretty near. Mountain Lake is right by the Black Hills Trail; dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Walensburg. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course close to Mountain Lake is Grandote Peaks Golf Course, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Sulphur Springs. Mountain Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Rambler is a brilliant choice. You absolutely have to adore Mountain Lake. From Mountain Lake you get a magnificent vista of Kruger Mountain, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mountain Lake; Indian Creek Trail is a pleasant local trail.
