This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A pleasant close by hotel is Knights Inn Walensburg, and the Black Hills Trail offers hiking at its best. Good hiking is available along the Indian Creek Trail, and the summit of Kruger Mountain can be observed from Mountain Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Lake is tremendous       enough to spend more than a day at, Circle The wagons RV Park is a tremendous local campground; close to Mountain Lake you stumble on a golf course called Grandote Peaks Golf Course. Mountain Lake is a location that is reasonably dried out ordinarily; August is the wettest month with most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Rambler is a good spot to get some rest. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Sangre                  De Cristo Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Getting to Price Creek from Mountain Lake is simple. There's so much to do here at Mountain Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bearadise Cabins and RV Park is a good location for that. During the months of summer at Mountain Lake highs are typically in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Mountain Lake. A day on the slopes of Eldora is just what you need, and Sulphur Springs is an inspiring place to check out during your stay. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Mountain Lake.
