If you are in Lake county it's always a good idea to stop by Mount Elbert Forebay. All the outdoors cool things in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back persistently. There's so much to do here at Mount Elbert Forebay that you need to camp here for a while, White Star Campground is a great location for that; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. This is a delightful neighborhood for people

| | who like lakes. Cozart Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood; Mount Elbert Forebay is right by the Mount Massive Trail. At Mount Elbert Forebay you don’t see much rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
Yeah, come up here to the Sawatch Range for a great time. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mount Elbert Forebay has to offer, you can camp at Lake View Campground; if you like | |

skiing, you're in luck; Ski Cooper is pretty near. At Mount Elbert Forebay during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's; the overnight is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with
highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Mount Elbert Forebay all through the winter ordinarily fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A quick visit to Box Creek in the neighborhood of Mount Elbert Forebay is a perfect idea;
the scenery at Mount Elbert Forebay Dam is pretty.
Mount Elbert Forebay is located in the Sawatch Range. This spot is unbeatable, just explore all the fun stuff to do near Mount Elbert Forebay. If you come at the right time of
year, Arkansas River offers some great whitewater; hiking is a popular thing to do around Mount Elbert Forebay; Main Range Trail is a great local trail. A perfect nearby hotel is Delaware Hotel, and why not take a refreshing hike
along the Mount Elbert Trail.
Bartlett Gulch is next to Mount Elbert Forebay and is a tremendous spot; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Clear Creek.
