So many enjoyable things to do at Mount Baldy Reservoir, so little time. Mount Baldy Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Wye Campground is a tremendous local campground, and do check out Stratton Reservoir, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mount Baldy Reservoir, you could also take a look at lovely Penrose-Rosemont Reservoir, and the peak of Almagre       Mountain can be seen from Mount Baldy Reservoir. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Front Range. After a long day outdoors Eagle Motel is a delightful site to spend a night or two; the Barr Trail offers hiking at its best. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Indian Trail, and don't miss out on a tour to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument while you're here. It is very dry here at Mount Baldy                  Reservoir mostly; through July this area sees the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. And if that's not enough there's lots more cool stuff to do in the Front Range. During your tour to Mount Baldy Reservoir you'll meet some people from Colorado Springs for sure, and a wonderful nearby hotel is The Cliff House Hotel at Pikes Peak. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mount Baldy Reservoir it's a nice idea to stop by Deer Park, and Mount Baldy Reservoir is right by the Palmer Trail. There's so much to do here at Mount Baldy Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Clyde Campground is a delightful location for that, and Mount Baldy Dam is a scenic spot. Mount Baldy Reservoir is located in the Front Range. At Mount Baldy Reservoir during the summertime highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
