Just can't get enough of Moss Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Gunnison/Crested Butte. Having a brilliant time in the San Juan Mountains is painless. Near Moss Lake you hit upon glorious sites like Homestead Gulch, and if you have time, Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is a national park worth going to. Going for a hike on the Devils Hole Trail is always a good       adventure; while you're here, you could go to Alkali Creek. Around Moss Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain; April meanwhile is the driest month. If you need a place to stay Alpine Inn Of Gunnison is a good choice; if you came for an overnight stay Luders Creek Campground is a pleasant location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Moss Lake is splendid fun, Stone Cellar Campground is a splendid local                  campground, and close by you stumble on the Skyline Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Moss Lake reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
