Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Mormon Lake is one of them. Mormon Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. High temperatures at Mormon Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Mormon Lake throughout the wintertime frequently descend into the 0's. | | winter be without some skiing at Ski Cooper; there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Last Chance Trail.
So much fun stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range, too great to be true. If the weather is magnificent here at Mormon Lake, you can go for a hike along the Highline Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Homestake Creek. This is a nice region for folks who like lakes. come here. This lake is so wonderful. Very charming scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Beaver Creek.
Having a delightful time at Mormon Lake is uncomplicated. The Main Range Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close
to Mormon Lake; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Leadville. Mormon Lake is pretty waterless commonly; most of the rain falls through July, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a
long day outdoors The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and Mormon Lake is a good place to camp, Gold Park Campground is a good place.
Whitewater paddling is great on Fryingpan River, and camping at Mormon Lake is delightful fun, Mary Queen Campground is a delightful local campground.
