Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Moore Basin Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Ben Lowe Trail is always a great adventure. Be careful coming to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. If you need a location to stay Southgate Inns is a pleasant choice, and why not camp at Antone Spring Campground if you're here at Moore Basin Lake. Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do in the neighborhood

That right there is heaps of fun things already but it goes on, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has it all. Near Moore Basin Lake you
locate the Traver Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and lots of people from Montrose come here. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Moore Basin Lake, you'll discover Big Monitor Reservoir Number 2 which is a charming lake,
and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sundance is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Through the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 90's at Moore Basin Lake; all through summer nights temperatures are in the
50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Moore Basin Lake tend to be in the 10's.
A fine location like Criswell Basin here at Moore Basin Lake is too delightful to miss, and there are splendid spots to explore along the Roubideau Trail.
