Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Moon Lake is one of them. Be careful coming to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. Why not camp at Five Branches Camper Park since you're here at Moon Lake It's always splendid to pop by Coyote Basin Spring. This lake is so wonderful. camp here at Moon Lake is Pine River Campground, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Piedra River. Summertime at Moon Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's.
High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Moon Lake through the wintertime typically dip into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always
stop by nearby Chain Lakes, and the top of Grassy Point is easily distinguished from Moon Lake. Near Moon Lake you locate the Middle Mountain Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and Keyah Grande Resort is a nice spot to get
some rest. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a nice time. There is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Moon Lake called the Devil Mountain Trail, and since you're here, you might as well explore Bear Trap Canyon.
