Many people like to go to Monument Reservoir. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Monument Reservoir; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is June. Mountain Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gunnison River - North Fork. Hiking along the Minnesota Pass Trail is brilliant fun; Anthracite Creek - Ruby Fork has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby.
