If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Monument Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Wolf Creek. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Monument Lake while nighttime lows are commonly in the 30's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Monument Lake. Monument Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan Mountains.

There are good sites to look at along the Middle Creek Stock Driveway, and dry warm beds await you at Best Value High Country Lodge. Get dripping wet paddling on Wolf Creek, and not far from Monument Lake you'll stumble on Window Lake which is a lovely lake. There's so much to do here at Monument Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead is a wonderful location | |

Yeah, come up here to the San Juan Mountains for a brilliant time. Going for a hike on the Rainbow Trail is always a
great adventure; you can stay the night at Middle Fork Hunter Campground. So many exciting things to do at Monument Lake, so little time. You get a pleasant panorama of Palomino Mountain from Monument Lake; get yourself into a kayak
and hit Rio Grande. It is very dry here at Monument Lake regularly; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. There
is a brilliant hiking trail close to Monument Lake called the Turkey Lake Trail, and it's a nice idea to visit Puerto Blanco Creek.
